Bush Hike - 13.Apr.2025
Join us for a day of hiking in the Sunshine Coast hinterlands.
Purpose: Get outside and enjoy nature with a hike while connecting with others.
What to Expect: We will be hiking a trail off the beaten path in the Sunshine Coast hinterlands, our local bushman, Jaya, will be guiding us, and pointing out a variety of the unique wildlife in the area. During the hike, there will be some water crossings, steep inclines, and a series of large boulders which attendees will need to navigate - please dress and prepare accordingly.
We will stop midway through the loop to swim, lounge and converse.
Pour over coffee will be served to attendees before the hike.
Jaya Saraswati-Blyss Bio:
Jaya has spent the past 20 years living on the Sunshine Coast, and, having explored many of the countless hidden gems across the region, he has developed a passion for sharing these places with others. Jaya has spent time living off grid in the mountains of Victoria, learning what it is to plant, raise, harvest and hunt.
Animals are Jaya’s passion, from the smallest jumping spider to the soaring sea eagle; and so this is the primary sharing on his walks.
Intensity: MODERATE
What to Bring: Shoes, water, sunscreen, swim attire, towel, snacks
What’s Included: Pour over coffee, beautiful scenery, good tunes, good company :)
When: Sunday, 13.Apr.2025
Time: 11AM to 3:30PM
Where: Sunshine Coast, QLD
Disclaimer: Official meet-up location and further details of gathering will be sent out upon booking confirmation.
