OLLIN
In Aztec philosophy, Ollin, translated as “movement” - names the fundamental condition of existence: a universe perpetually in motion, sustained through cycles of creation, destruction, and renewal.
This worldview reflects core Aztec values: responsibility over complacency, action over stasis, and the understanding that human life is inseparable from the rhythms of the cosmos.
To live well was to participate consciously in movement, embracing struggle, transformation, and duty as essential to sustaining society.
We will explore how we can integrate the philosophy of Ollin into our lives by participating in conscious movement, embracing struggle, and transformation.

All the chicanos
And all those that will never
See the luz del Camino, y si acaso
Esto que vemos los que vemos

In a flame and light the path

We have collaborated with Sun Dub Sessions to create this tote bag, which draws on the language of reggae and sound system culture, where Babylon names the forces that diminish human dignity - oppression, injustice, and the systems that separate people from freedom, identity, and one another.
The graphic pairs a towering sound system with the force of a throw, turning “Take Down Babylon” into both a visual impact and a statement of resistance. But in the roots tradition, bringing down Babylon is never only about destruction; it is also about what rises in its place: community, rhythm, cultural pride, and collective endurance.
Loud, confrontational, and alive with movement, this piece celebrates sound, struggle, and the shared spirit that answers power with connection.
