Photography Coastal Walk - 16.Mar.2025
Join us for a day of photography around a Sunshine Coast coastal path.
About: Point Cartwright is renowned for its scenic beauty and landmark lighthouse. The current reinforced concrete pentagonal tower, measuring 32.4 metres in height, was opened in 1979, replacing earlier lighthouses that had been guiding ships into Moreton Bay since 1896.
Purpose: Get outside and enjoy nature with a walk while also taking photographs of the scenery.
What to Expect: We will be walking the Point Cartwright loop (2km total). During the walk, attendees will be taking photos. We will stop midway through the loop to swim and lounge at the beach. Pour over coffee will be served to attendees before the walk. Afterwards, attendees have the option of having lunch at a nearby cafe. 3 hours total including walk and beach hangout.
Intensity: VERY LIGHT
What to Bring: Camera or smartphone, water, sunscreen, swim attire, towel, snacks
What’s Included: Pour over coffee, good vibes, good music, good scenery :)
