Street Photography - 13.Jun.2026
Join us for a golden-hour street photography walk through Brisbane CBD!
This gathering is inspired by Ollin: the Aztec concept of movement, transformation, and renewal. Ollin reminds us that the world is always in motion: people crossing streets, light shifting across buildings, reflections moving through glass, traffic flowing through the city, and the body moving through urban space.
About: Brisbane CBD offers a mix of laneways, architecture, river paths, public squares, commuters, nightlife, street reflections, and golden-hour light. For this gathering, we will move through the city with our cameras and smartphones, paying attention to rhythm, gesture, shadow, reflection, and the movement of everyday life.
Purpose: For this gathering, we will take awareness of movement within a city and capture it through photography.
What to Expect: We will be walking a street photography circuit through Brisbane CBD. We will be led by Emmanuel Bieche (@eb_ocean).
Emmanuel Bio: Emmanuel is a Gold Coast photographer who loves capturing nature - playing with light, movement, and texture.
During the walk, attendees will take photos, connect with one another, and explore simple photography prompts inspired by movement, city life, light, shadow, reflection, architecture, and human interaction.
The walk is timed around golden hour, with the strongest light expected near the river and Goodwill Bridge section. Sunset in Brisbane on Saturday, 13 June 2026 is around 5:00–5:01 pm, with evening golden hour roughly from 4:28 pm to sunset.
After the walk, we will finish near Burnett Lane / Elizabeth Street, where attendees can optionally continue the gathering over Korean food, drinks, or a casual pub-style hangout.
This gathering is for anyone new to photography through to seasoned photographers.
What to Bring: Camera or smartphone, comfortable walking shoes, water, a light jacket, spare battery or power bank, and any preferred lens or camera accessories.
What’s Included: Good energy :) creative atmosphere, guided street photography prompts, a golden-hour walking route, and space to connect with other photographers and creatives. We are here for a gooood time y’all!
