Women's Intro to Outdoor Beach Bouldering - 01.Feb.2026

$0.00

Join us for a women’s introduction to bouldering session!

Purpose: To create a space for women to learn, enjoy outdoor bouldering, and connect with others.

What to Expect: We will be bouldering at Coolum Beach in the Sunshine Coast with Sarah Hutto; Sarah will be present to offer general support and guidance to new climbers.

Sarah Hutto’s Bio: After quitting gymnastics, I focused on climbing for a few years as a young adult. I left the sport because it lacked basic support and inclusivity for women at the time.

Twelve years later, I started climbing again. I figured it would just be for fun due to my age, and surprised myself with how quickly I picked it back up. I took up route setting and coaching, and have made it my primary goal to help drive a positive, welcoming culture for women. Nobody should ever feel the way I did when I was a young climber. I'm very passionate about creating an equitable space for everyone, crafting climbs that highlight women's natural strengths, and ensuring that women feel confident and comfortable in the gym!

I run a ladies climbing night every month at Bould Move to help connect women with each other, get new climbers off to a good start, and ensure there's a recurring time and space where women can learn more about what training, climbing and social resources there are available to them

Intensity: There will be beginner to intermediate routes, all levels are welcome.

What to Bring: Climbing shoes, chalk bag, water, snacks, climbing pads (if you have them bring them!)

What’s Included: crash pads

When: Sunday, 01.Feb.2026

Time: 9AM to 12PM (time subject to change depending on conditions)

Where: Coolum Beach, Queensland - Meeting in front of the Coolum Surf Club

Disclaimer: Anyone who attends this social gathering will be liable for their own injuries. SANTO-FI is not responsible or liable for any injuries or damages to attendees should they occur during session.
